Museum-grade heavy pure gold Mohur struck under the golden reign of Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar at the royal mint of Agra (Dar al-Khilafat). Struck in nearly 24-karat pure gold (10.9 grams) featuring the Islamic Kalima within an ornate polylobed cartouche and royal Persian imperial titles with regnal year 48. Certified NGC Ancients AU-55.
The Bombay Mint issue (mint mark \'B\') is one of the most collected varieties. Struck in 50% silver, this coin represents a transition from the British era to independent India and holds immense historical and numismatic value.
